Zendaya plays longtime stylist Law Roach's assistant in a hilarious new campaign video for On
The actress poked fun at Roach's 2023 retirement announcement
Zendaya and Roach partnered with the Swiss sportswear brand for its first-ever co-created collection
Zendaya teamed up with her longtime stylist Law Roach for a campaign that sees them swapping roles.
In partnership with On, the duo designed the Swiss sportswear brand's first co-created footwear and apparel collection.
"Developed in close collaboration, the launch brings together Zendaya’s perspective on modern sportswear with On’s design expertise - balancing performance and personal style through refined silhouettes, color and texture," the brand wrote in a press release. "A shared focus on detail runs throughout, bringing function and form together in a way that feels distinctly On."
Zendaya and Roach star in an imaginative cinematic campaign film, Shape of Dreams, directed by Academy Award winner Spike Jonze. Set inside Zendaya’s imagined design world, “The Dream Lab," the design process "takes on a surreal, boundary-defying quality as outfits stretch, shrink, and transform until they find their final form." The film also features imagery by acclaimed photographer Sean Thomas.
In another campaign video, the Euphoria actress takes on the role of Roach's assistant, answering calls, carrying boxes and offering him a sip of a beverage. The clip also pokes fun at Roach's retirement announcement in 2023, only to return to the industry two years later.
"Well, he was retired, but he's not anymore," Zendaya tells a caller over the phone.

In the press release, Zendaya shared that it was "so much fun" to work with Roach and On on the collection.
"We wanted to create pieces that feel versatile and easy to wear – styles that move with you across different moments," she shared. "We started with the idea of making people feel confident and effortless, and we built everything out from there."

"Working with Spike Jonze brought that vision to life in a really special way – the world he created gave it a whole new dimension," the star added.

Zendaya first announced a multi-year partnership with the sportswear brand in 2024.
“It’s no secret that I’ve been a big fan of On for a long time," the Emmy winner shared in a statement at the time. "I’m always wearing them on set, or when I’m traveling, rehearsing or running around with my dog. So it’s a full-circle moment to make this partnership official."

In April 2025, the actress sported a dramatic pixie cut for On's space-themed "Zone Dreamers" campaign.
Brought to life along with Roach and visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen, the campaign featured a short film starring the actress, along with three other crew members, gearing up for a trip to space for an intergalactic expedition. Zendaya and her cohorts don skin-tight items designed by Roach for the brand, as they face zero gravity aboard their spaceship.
