Everything We Know About The Madison Season 2Emerson Miller/Paramount+

The end of a television season can often be a stressful time for fans, wondering whether or not their favorite characters will be returning for more memorable moments. Fortunately for fans of The Madison, there’s no such stress. Not only has the series already been picked up for a second season, they already filmed the next batch of episodes last year! That said, the powers that be have been keeping the details about the next season largely under wraps. Here’s what we know for certain so far:

When does The Madison season 2 premiere?

Though filming on season 2 already wrapped some time ago, no premiere date for the second outing has been announced yet. At this point, it’s possible that we could see the show return in 2026, but also equally possible that we could be in for a longer wait.

Who is in it?

The primary cast from the first season is expected to return, including Michelle Pfeiffer, Beau Garrett, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Danielle Vasinova, and Rebecca Spence. Also returning, albeit in flashback form, will be Kurt Russell and Matthew Fox.

“We ended up shooting our material from season one at the beginning of them shooting season two,” Fox told T&C of himself and Russell. The reason? Russell’s packed shooting schedule with his Apple TV series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

“Michelle Pfeiffer and Taylor were able to get together with the people at Paramount+ and said, ‘Well, let’s do two seasons instead of just one, and then before we start the second season next year, instead of doing that, we will start with Kurt’s stuff,” Russell explained to EW. “And so we were able to do that.”

Will season 2 be the last?

Nothing has been announced so far about carrying The Madison beyond the currently-filmed two seasons, but, per The Hollywood Reporter, “even though they filmed what seems to be two-season limited series, Sheridan is planning for many seasons.” They added, “Pfeiffer makes it clear they are all very much hoping for a third season.”
