Maika Monroe has been dating Dalton Gomez for over two years.

The Reminders of Him star and Gomez, who was previously married to singer Ariana Grande, were first romantically linked in October 2023, a month after Grande filed for divorce. Shortly after they were initially spotted out together, Monroe and Gomez were seen vacationing in Mexico in February 2024.

However, they didn’t publicly confirm they were dating until June 2024, when Monroe made their relationship Instagram official.

Since then, Gomez has made several appearances on her Instagram, but for the most part, they’ve kept their relationship out of the public eye.

In a 2024 interview with Polyester, Monroe, who previously dated Stranger Things star Joe Keery for five years, touched on her need for privacy as a public figure.

“I think, with all the success I’ve had, there have also been hardships and deep lows and so many nos. It keeps you humble,” she said. “I have very good people around me. I have a healthy distance from the industry.”

Gomez, who was born and raised in Southern California, is a real estate agent specializing in luxury properties in Los Angeles. He currently serves as the director of the estates division at Christie’s International Real Estate.

According to his bio on the company website, he has 10 years of experience in the luxury real estate industry and has worked with many A-list clients.

He was married to Ariana Grande for two years

Gomez was previously married to Ariana Grande. In May 2021, he and the pop star tied the knot in a “tiny and intimate” ceremony after a whirlwind engagement five months earlier.

The couple separated two years later, in July 2023, and in September, Grande filed for divorce.

Their divorce was finalized in March 2024.

In June 2024, more than six months after they were first linked, Monroe confirmed their relationship with an Instagram post.

Captioned with only a swirling star emoji, Monroe shared a series of photos on Instagram, officially hard-launching their romance. The first photo in the carousel shows her and Gomez kissing in a crosswalk. In the final slide, the couple is lounging together on what appears to be a boat in front of the ocean.

They keep their relationship private

Since going Instagram official, Monroe and Gomez have been seen together several times in public, including on a date in New York City and in California after a screening of her film, Longlegs.

Monroe has also shared multiple Instagram posts with Gomez. Most recently, in January 2026, she posted photos from her vacation to Brazil with friends and family, including Gomez. One group of images showed the couple kissing by the beach as the sun set.

In another carousel of photos, Monroe and Gomez are on top of a beach vehicle, posing in front of the ocean, and walking arm in arm along the boardwalk.

Aside from these glimpses into their relationship, though, the couple have largely remained out of the spotlight.
