The White House's latest video offensively featured a Bad Bunny song amid President Donald Trump's feud with the Puerto Rican star.
On Thursday, July 30, the official White House TikTok account shared a montage video of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) arrests under Trump's administration. Soundtracking the pro-MAGA video, which was captioned, "We’re making America great again," was the 31-year-old singer's hit song, LA MuDANZA.
Many were confused by the conservative presidency's use of Bad Bunny's record, given how outraged the 80-year-old president was when the Grammy-winning artist was picked as the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer earlier this year.

"So let me get this straight: Trump publicly mocked Bad Bunny over the Super Bowl… and now a Trump video is using Bad Bunny’s music? That’s a level of irony you just can’t script," one TikTok user commented under the White House's post.
A second added, "Is he using his opponents songs?" while another remarked, "They were complaining about bad bunny at the super bowl and now they want to use his music." Someone else shared, "Using bad bunny’s music hmmm okay this is weird …" as one commented, "Why he gotta disrespect bad bunny."

Trump spearheaded an entire MAGA backlash movement after he bashed Bad Bunny after it was announced in February, weeks before this year's Super Bowl, that Bad Bunny would be the halftime show performer.
At the time, the commander-in-chief said it's "absolutely ridiculous" that Bad Bunny has been picked by the NFL to perform at the major sports event amid and give an interview on NewsMax's Greg Kelly Reports.
Host Greg Kelly told Trump, "The NFL just chose the Bad Bunny rabbit or whatever his name is … This guy, who hates ICE, he doesn't like you, he accuses everything he doesn't like of racism."

Additionally, he then questioned whether people should boycott the NFL, suggesting, "This guy does not seem like a unifying entertainer and a lot of folks don’t even know who he is."
Despite Bad Bunny being one of the most popular music stars of this generation, Trump claimed in the interview, "I don’t know who he is, I don’t know why they’re doing it, it’s like, crazy."
Trump went on to slam the NFL, saying, "Then they blame it on some promoter that they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous."
Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, did not immediately respond to the use of his song in the TikTok.
