Tom Felton sparked a wave ofHarry Potter nostalgia after surprising fans with a heartfelt post alongside on-screen father Jason Isaacs.

The iconic film franchise introduced the-then young actor as the pure-blood wizard Draco Malfoy, who rose to prominence under Slytherin.

The movie also highlights his complicated relationship with his stern and aristocratic father, Lucius Malfoy.

The father and son’s on-screen dynamic captivated viewers despite their antagonist roles.

Fast forward 14 years since the adventure fantasy series released its final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Felton’s Instagram update had Potterheads, as fans are called, reliving the magic all over again.

In his latest post, the 38-year-old actor shared a sweet candid selfie with the Armageddon actor.

Not only did the photo convey their decades-long friendship, but Felton also penned a short yet sweet message to his former co-star.

“Love you, Dad," he wrote.

The comment section was filled with fans swooning over the touching moment, especially the enduring bond between the onscreen father and son long after the films ended.

“I love you posting all the things like this. Just melts my heart,” one wrote.

“Precious! I love how much you two continue to support each other!!” a follower said.

Moreover, fans also continue to celebrate and adore the unforgettable roles of Draco and Lucius Malfoy even years later.

Tom Felton’s Credits Jason Isaac on His Broadway Debut

Tom Felton made his Broadway debut in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Launched in November 2025, he reprised his film role as the adult Draco, who mentors and supports his son Scorpius Malfoy, played by Aidan Close.

According to him, he learned to be an on-stage father thanks to Isaacs.

“Jason Isaac was 38 years old when he adopted me on screen in the Chamber of Secrets,” he mentioned in an interview. “I’m 38 years old, adopting Aidan on Broadway. There’s something symbolic about that and I've learned from the best.”

The Harry Potter alum also described his former co-star as the “best dad” on and off screen, and now he is passing on the “wise words and support” that Isaacs gave him.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will continue its limited run at the Lyric Theatre until May 2026.
