McDonald's and Netflix are launching limited-time K-pop-inspired meals tied to the hit film KPop Demon Hunters

The meals feature Korean-inspired flavors, collectible photocards and exclusive digital content for fans

The singers of the film say the collaboration celebrates Korean culture while blending nostalgia with the film's global success

Fresh off the global success of KPop Demon Hunters, the film’s vocal stars are bringing their fandom full circle with a new collaboration that turns a familiar fast-food run into an immersive experience.

McDonald's teamed up with Netflix to launch two limited-time meals inspired by the film’s rival K-pop groups, HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys — complete with collectible photocards and exclusive digital content. For the voices behind the Saja Boys — Andrew Choi (Jinu), NECKWAV (Abby), Kevin Woo (Mystery), samUIL Lee (Romance), and Danny Chung (Baby) — the collaboration feels both nostalgic and surreal.

"I think our favorite part of our meal is that we have a soda pop in our meal," said Woo during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. "I feel like the fans will go just nuts." He added that the collectible cards, included with each meal, are especially meaningful. "We were fans of collecting cards as kids. So to have our own…with our faces on it is just so iconic."

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal leans into the group’s signature charm, featuring a Spicy Saja McMuffin with a peppery sauce, hash browns and a drink — a nod, the group says, to both their on-screen energy and real-life fandom culture. But beyond the menu, the stars say the collaboration captures something bigger: the world-building that helped make KPop Demon Hunters a breakout hit.

"When you taste it, it feels like you’re watching the movie," said Chung. "It’s something that the Saja Boys or the HUNTR/X girls would eat!"

The collection is complete with the Derpy McFlurry, a new McFlurry flavor that blends creamy vanilla soft serve with berry popping pearls in a wild berry sauce. "Just like Derpy Tiger, it's impossible not to love," noted the release. That attention to detail extends across the campaign, from Korean-inspired flavors with the Ramyeon McShaker Fries to the Hunter Sauce and Demon Sauce designed to reflect the characters’ personalities. Fans can also scan QR codes on exclusive "Derpy" cards to unlock early-access content and help determine which group wins the "Battle for the Fans."

The collaboration arrives at a moment when the film’s impact is still reverberating globally. The animated film won two Academy Awards at the 98th Oscars, which premiered on March 15, 2026, for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for the track "Golden."

"It’s unbelievable," said Choi of the movie’s success. "We thought K-pop had reached its pinnacle… but KPop Demon Hunters completely surpassed that." For many involved, the partnership also represents a deeper cultural milestone, blending Korean flavors and storytelling with a brand that shaped their childhoods.

"Coming from immigrant families, McDonald’s felt like America," explained Chung. "Now, it can also feel like our culture in Korea. It’s special and it’s heartwarming."

As fans line up to try the meals and collect the limited-edition cards, the stars say the moment is about more than just food.

"It’s a dream come true," Woo added. "To see this world come to life like this… You really feel like you’re in it."
