The original cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City are heading back to television screens—just not on Bravo. According to a report fromPage Six, a new series centered around former Apple holders Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, and Ramona Singer is set to air on rival network E!

As the outlet pointed out, Bravo and E! were once under the same NBCUniversal umbrella, but E! has since split off into a new independent company, Versant. The shift means the networks are now competitors, and Bravo will be going head-to-head with a show featuring RHONY cast members it created, now airing on a rival network.

RHONY was the first installment in the Real Housewives franchise to undergo a complete cast reboot. Following Season 13, which still featured OGs de Lesseps, Morgan, and Singer, the series introduced an entirely new group of women, who have yet to fully win over longtime fans.

Page Six shared the news on Instagram, where fans quickly flooded the comments, overjoyed that their beloved RHONY OGs will be returning to their screens.

"Finally 🔥," a fan shared. "Omg my dreams have come true!!!👏👏👏👏 Gen Z will finally get to see these ladies," another comment read.

"I would totally watch the original real housewives of New York. Please tell me this is true. I miss them," a user shared.

Fans won't be seeing Bethenny Frankel back on their screens despite being one of the original cast members. In a 2023 interview with Stellar Magazine (via Daily Mail), Frankel shared that she would never return to reality TV.

“I see reality television through a different lens because my daughter is embarrassed.” Frankel shared, adding, “There’s not a world where I would go back, because she finds it trashy.”

According to Page Six, a new series centered around the original RHONY women could arrive as early as the end of the year.
