Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce held a star-studded wedding on Friday, July 3.

Swift, 36, and Kelce, 36, hosted an elaborate wedding at New York's Madison Square Garden, featuring a surprising slew of A-list attendees like Steven Spielberg, Brad Pitt, Adam Sandler and Tom Cruise. Sandler, 59, officiated the wedding. The event boasted 1,000 guests, including close friends of the bride and groom and Hollywood’s finest. During the wedding reception, Swift allegedly introduced Kelce to the “heavy hitters” of the wedding as the two “worked the room like crazy,” per a guest speaking to the Daily Mail.

Swift’s choice to show off Kelce to Hollywood icons like Spielberg is reportedly part of Kelce's plan to “become a big actor after he retires from football.” Criticism of Swift’s wedding comes as guests were reportedly “weirded out” by a gifting gesture.

“It felt like a networking event to help Travis get a leg up in Hollywood,” added the guest.

Kelce has appeared on reality and competition game shows like Catching Kelce and Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? He made his narrative film debut in Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2, in which he played a waiter. He appeared on the small screen in his first serious television acting gig in American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie.

Kelce’s pursuit of the arts comes after he admitted that he may have “slipped a little bit” in his football skills as he tried to focus on “trying to set [him]self up.”

“Opportunities came up where I was excited to venture into a new world of acting and being an entertainer,” he said.

Other critics of Swift’s wedding claimed that there was “nowhere to eat” at the extravagant event. Swift and Kelce opted for a buffet-style dining experience for their guests.

An insider revealed there were “one thousand people eating at the same time,” with no formal seated dinner. The source said the line to get one’s food was '”massive and very unorganized.”

Another said that, while there was seating for "everybody," the seating situation was still “funky.”

There were a reported 15 cakes at Swift and Kelce’s wedding. While it’s unknown what bakery the pair ordered from, Swift previously celebrated a birthday with a cake from Milk Bar.

Swift and Kelce’s wedding also came with a raffle, in which the couple handed out prizes to guests.

“Straight after the ceremony, Taylor and Travis did a raffle and gave out expensive gifts for an hour. Everyone was weirded out,” remarked one insider. They added that the raffle experience compared to a “circus” meet-and-greet that was “pretty demeaning” and “killed the vibe” at the event.
