Taylor Swift is Paul McCartney's biggest fan!
The pop star, 36, re-shared an Instagram post from the legendary singer, 83, on Tuesday, June 2, about his new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane.
Alongside the post, the “Blank Space” star called McCartney an “eternally exceptional artist” and said she was “never not inspired” by him.
Swift's post came after the former Beatle compared her fame and level of success to the worldwide phenomenon of Beatlemania.

During an interview on BBC Sounds released on May 24, McCartney was asked whether he would give Swift any advice, as she appears to have achieved the same level of global fame as The Beatles.
“You do see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame,” McCartney said in a clip from the interview posted on BBC Radio 2's Instagram, “The worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we had.”
He then noted that the star doesn't need any advice from him, adding that he's like a “grandad” to Swift's generation.

“I'm like the older brother to that generation, or more like the grandad, actually,” he said with a chuckle.

McCartney subsequently revealed that he's met Swift, among other singers, including Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter at parties hosted by his wife, Nancy Shevell and daughter, Stella McCartney.

“They're really cool people, they're very good,” he said of the singers.
“I like their voices,” McCartney continued, adding, “If they need any advice, yeah, I would be happy to give it, but I don't think they do.”
And it seems McCartney really is a Swiftie as he attended her Eras Tour at London's Wembley Stadium in June 2024.

The former Beatles star was greeted by several fans and handed numerous friendship bracelets on the way to his seat in the VIP tent. A clip shared by a fan on X showed McCartney throwing his arms in the air as he made his way into the tent, prompting cheers from hundreds of Swifties.
Swift and McCartney's mutual appreciation dates back a few years. The pair rubbed shoulders at the 2024 Super Bowl, joined forces for Rolling Stone's Musicians on Musicians issue in 2020, and moved album release dates around for each other.
