Sydney Sweeney talks “sports” in a new ad, if anyone is actually listening.
The Euphoria actress strips down to just about nothing to promote Novig, a sports prediction market. On theme with the brand, she protects her modesty with an assortment of strategically-placed footballs, shoulder pads, and goalie gloves.

“Think you know sports? Prove it,” Sweeney tells the camera. “Novig is just sports. So they wanted to show just sports.”
As the camera zooms out, the actress is revealed to be nude straddling a basketball hoop while spinning a ball on her finger like a Harlem Globetrotter.
“You can trade this sport and this sport… sports, sports, sports,” Sweeney continues, as she’s shown topless while playing tennis, hockey, and golf.
“No betting on wars or deaths, and no politics,” she concludes while balancing a soccer ball on a pair of cleats.

Despite baring it all, Sweeney’s ad didn’t exactly knock it out of the park for Novig.
Within 12 hours of its upload on Wednesday, the YouTube video had only notched 72,000 views. Over on X, it was on par with typical viral content, scoring over 3 million. Perhaps due to community guidelines, Novig didn’t post the provocative clip on Instagram or TikTok.
In an interview with Complex, Sweeney described the ad as “a very simple and playful idea” that she had an active role in creating. “I don’t like to just put my face on something,” said the actress, who is also an equity partner with Novig.

Sweeney also revealed her own athletic abilities. “I played sports growing up. I was on a soccer team, I was on a softball team, I was on a snow ski team… and I did MMA,” she recalled. At the age of 12, “I really wanted to go to the X Games for wakeboarding, but that didn’t happen.”
These days, she continued, “I love watching hockey and boxing, especially after playing Christy Martin [in 2025 biopic Christy]. I have a really huge appreciation for every single fighter.”
