Sharon Stone is proof you can age gracefully.
“Summer’s around the corner! Happy Friday my loves 🥰,” Stone, 68, wrote via Instagram on Friday, May 1, alongside a photo of the actress posing in a string bikini in front of a backyard pool.
Stone sizzled in the green geometric-patterned two-piece, while covering her face with a leaf on a small branch.
Several of Stone’s social media followers praised the acclaimed actress’ snapshot.

Stone has long been candid about embracing and accepting her looks at any age.
“A lot of people give up as they get older. They let go of their body because it’s collapsing anyway, or it’s like, ‘I’m not defined by my body any more.’ But you still have to love that body,” Stone told The Times of London in March 2025. “I joke that my underarms have pleats now. I think, ‘Well, I had beautiful arms and now they’re strong and painting [she is an artist] and like angel wings. So what if they have pleats? Maybe that’s what makes them wonderful now.’”
At the time, Stone revealed that a past conversation with sisters Jackie and Joan Collins helped change her mindset.

“Joan said, ‘Let me give you a tip. After 40, never get on top and never wave goodbye,’” Stone recalled to the outlet, citing the 92-year-old actress’ advice. “Joan once described a man to me as a ‘bungalow — everything downstairs, nothing upstairs.’ She’s so funny.”
Since then, Stone has continued to prioritize self-care.
“I think we are not supposed to be saying how we feel,” she said on the “LadyGang” podcast in June 2025. “I think that's why we're all being envious and ‘I want this and I wish I could have that,’ and I feel anxious because we’re amazing imagining the possibilities are being taken away. I think that we have to stay in the flow state, and the flow state is just to be in, ‘I flow with me, I flow with my truth in reality.’”
