Ricky Gervais is once again calling out celebrities who get political during their acceptance speeches.
On Monday, the controversial English comedian posted a clip on social media from his 2020 Golden Globes monologue in which he advised actors not include any calls to action in their speeches.
"If you do win an award tonight, don't use it as a political platform to make a political speech," Gervais said at the time. "You're in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg."
Gervais added in his post, "They're still not listening," and included a laugh-crying emoji.

Gervais' comment comes one day after the 2026 Grammys, where multiple artists called out Immigration and Customs Enforcement amid nationwide protests over the agency's violent operations, which have resulted in multiple deaths.
Bad Bunny, who will headline the Super Bowl halftime show this weekend, called out ICE and encouraged viewers to combat hate with love after winning the award for Best Música Urbana Album for Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
"ICE out," he said. "We're not savage. We're not animals. We're not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans."
Billie Eilish also condemned ICE while accepting the award for Song of the Year, stating in part, "No one is illegal on stolen land. F‑‑‑ ICE."
And songstress Olivia Dean voiced her support for immigrants during her Best New Artist speech. "I'm up here as a granddaughter of an immigrant," she said. "I'm a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated."

Shaboozey and Kehlani also denounced ICE during their own speeches, while other stars — Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Joni Mitchell, and Samara Joy — wore pins to the event emblazoned with the message "ICE out."
Justin Vernon, founder of the folk band Bon Iver, also sported an orange whistle on his lapel as a tribute to the Minneapolis citizens who blow them to alert their community that ICE is in the area.

This is the second time Gervais has made this exact comment on social media following a major awards show. He published the barb after the Emmys last September, but deleted the post shortly afterward.
The Office creator's post also comes a few weeks after Golden Globes presenter Wanda Sykes accepted his award for Best Stand-Up Comedy on Television on his behalf because he was not present at the event.
"He would like to thank God and the trans community," Sykes said at the time. "Ricky Gervais could not be here, so we'll accept this on his behalf."
