Ray J's estranged wife, Princess Love, has altered a protective order against the singer, allowing him to see their two children following his recent health update.
Page Six reported that on Friday, Jan. 30, a Los Angeles judge agreed to amend a protective order that kept the 45-year-old singer (born William Ray Norwood, Jr.) from seeing Love and their two children, Melody, 7, and Epik, 6.
"The restraining order was modified to allow Ray J to have unlimited contact with his children and wife," Ray J's attorney told the outlet.
Both Love and Ray J's mom, Sonja Norwood, spoke during Friday's brief hearing. According to Page Six, Love said that the kids "miss their father."
"The children have been asking about him. They are worried about his health issues," she said. "I would like them to see their father. They would not be in any danger."

The amended protective order comes just months after the singer was booked into a Los Angeles jail and charged with making a criminal threat following a livestreamed argument during which he allegedly pulled a gun on Love.
Ray J was arrested on Nov. 27, TMZ reported at the time. His bail was set at $50,000, and he was later released that same day.
Video footage of the livestream that was shared on social media appeared to show a heated situation unfolding. The “One Wish” musician and Love, 41, began to argue, and Ray J accused his former wife and others of wanting to “drive drunk.”
At one point, Love told Ray J, “Ray, you just pointed a gun," to which he responded, "Drive drunk, Princess. Go ahead. You wanna take my kids? You and your drunk cousin?”
Love then replied, "I’m not driving! You just pointed a gun at us." In response, Ray J said, “I didn’t point nothing at y’all."

The reality TV alum also shared shocking news about his health in recent weeks, following a hospital stay.
“2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” the R&B singer said during an Instagram Live earlier this month, which was reposted on X, following reports from TMZ that he had been hospitalized in Las Vegas with heart issues and pneumonia. “My health is not okay.”
Though he claimed in his livestream that his doctors had told him he had months to live, Ray J said in a Jan. 25 Instagram video that "everything will be all right" if he stays "on the right path."
Ray J told TMZ that doctors didn't know how long he had to live and started him on an intense medication protocol. He claimed he was prescribed eight kinds of medication and could be given a pacemaker or a defibrillator.
During his Instagram Live video, the musician told viewers that the right side of his heart had turned "black" due to excessive alcohol and substance abuse.
"I f---ed up," he explained. "You know why? ... Because I think I thought I had more weight. I thought I was a big [shot], so I could handle all the alcohol. I could handle all the Adderall. I could handle all the drugs, but I couldn’t. And it curbed my time here.”
“I’m like, ‘Ain’t nothing happening to me? F--- it. I’m indestructible,’ ” he continued. “Joke’s on me. Take care of yourselves, y’all.”
