The report said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were described to journalists as “running the Montecito branch of the House of Windsor.” Meanwhile, an insider claimed William no longer trusted “the majority of the palace staff.” The source said he believed the couple was using “any scrap of information” to stay close to King Charles.

The same source claimed the Sussexes denied any hidden agenda behind the communication flow. The individual allegedly said Harry and his wife were “simply being kept in the loop” about family matters affecting them. However, the insider said William felt “totally undermined” and blamed the couple.
