The Oklahoma City Thunder pulled away late in their 108-90 Game 1 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. They led by as many as 21 points. The reigning NBA champions open up their Round 2 matchup with a 1-0 series lead.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander struggled with 18 points and six assists. Chet Holmgren stepped up with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Ajay Mitchell had 18 points and four assists. Jared McCain dropped 12 points off the bench.

Meanwhile, LeBron James was well-rested with 27 points and six assists. Rui Hachimura had 18 points and two rebounds. Deandre Ayton tallied 10 points and 12 rebounds.
