Michael Reinstein picked up Nicole Kidman from the airport himself on July 31, in a $340,000 Ferrari 296 GTB — one day after she had been on the red carpet in New York for the Season 3 premiere of her Paramount+ series “The Lioness.” By the time Reinstein pulled up, Kidman had already switched coasts via private jet, and photographs showed her smiling when she spotted the car.
It was the second time in roughly two weeks the pair had been photographed together. In mid-July, photos surfaced of the two at the Belmond Splendido Hotel in Portofino, Italy — poolside, Aperol Spritzes in hand, close enough under a shared umbrella to draw the kind of attention that photographs like these are designed to draw. At one point Reinstein lifted Kidman’s sun hat from her face. At another they exchanged a high-five. Neither confirmed anything.
Reinstein, 54, is the founder and CEO of Regent, a private equity firm based in Beverly Hills. He holds a law degree from Pepperdine University and worked earlier in his career at the talent agency ICM Partners. His net worth has been reported at $250 million. His home in Beverly Hills is valued at $17 million. He arrived at the airport in a car worth $340,000. The details have been noted.
Rumors connecting the two first circulated in June, months after Kidman’s split from Keith Urban became public. The celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi reported at the time that the relationship had been “quietly developing for the past few months” with both keeping it “extremely low-key and largely out of the public eye.”
Urban, 58, moved out of the couple’s Nashville home in June 2025. The separation became public that September. Kidman filed for divorce the following day, and the divorce was finalized in January. The couple had been married for 19 years and have two daughters — Sunday Rose, who turned 18 on July 7, and Faith Margaret, 15.

Reports at the time said the daughters sided with their mother and that Urban was “distraught.” The custody arrangement gave Kidman 306 days per year with the girls, Urban 59. Sunday, now legally an adult, can make her own decisions about where she spends her time.
Kidman and her daughters have remained a visible unit through the past year that included Nashville concerts, Paris Fashion Week, Christmas in Sydney with family. That chapter appears to be continuing alongside whatever is developing with Reinstein.
Neither Kidman nor Reinstein has publicly addressed the photographs.
