The rich get richer in Major League Baseball.

Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday, Aug. 1, and the initial reaction from baseball fans is pretty universal: Of course it's the Dodgers.

The two-time defending World Series champs were the winners of the Skubal sweepstakes, sending Zyhir Hope, River Ryan, and Brady Smith to Detroit.

Of course, we can't fully evaluate a trade until all careers pan out, but when you trade a back-to-back Cy Young award winner, you likely won't end on the positive side of public opinion.
