Ludacris stars in a new Super Bowl campaign for Frank’s RedHot

The ad also includes an appearance from a goat, whom Ludacris called "really easy to work with" on set

Frank’s RedHot is coming for that number one spot — so the brand tapped Ludacris.

The new campaign, titled "Eat The GOAT,” sees the Atlanta rapper announcing, “When you’re cooking up a spread, you can’t forget the GOAT.”

Chingy makes a cameo to ask, “that homey right thurr?” referencing his 2003 debut single, "Right Thurr."

The camera then pans to an actual goat, sporting sunglasses, who turns its head and bleats.

“Nah, Chingy,” Ludacris says, opening a refrigerator to reveal shelves of hot sauce. “The greatest of all time,” he adds, as his 2004 hit “Number One Spot” starts playing.

“This campaign is about bringing people together,” Ludacris tells PEOPLE, noting that he’s a longtime fan of the product.

“I put it on eggs in the morning,” he continues. “I put it on chicken, and not just chicken wings. All the chicken. And my wife is from Africa, so she’s definitely into the hot sauces.”

Ludacris and Eudoxie Bridges tied the knot in 2014. Eudoxie was born and raised in the West African nation of Gabon.

The shoot was all about fun, friends and food — and George the goat, who made an appearance along with some of Ludacris’ buddies.

“Yeah, I was able to chill with him, take some pictures, pet him a little bit,” he says of the animal. “Obviously I was a little nervous, you know, you never know when he’s going to try and buck somebody, but he was real laid back.”

“He participated and did everything he needed to do,” he adds. “He was really easy to work with, man. I think his reputation in these streets is pretty stellar. I didn’t hear anything bad after I left either.”

In addition to Chingy, other friends and past collaborators of Ludacris make appearances in the campaign, including Shawnna, I-20 and DJ Infamous.

“It was like, ‘Man let’s just throw artists we have worked with in the past decades all together,” he says. “That’s what made it even more special.”

As for Super Bowl Sunday, Ludacris says he will be catering the Big Game from his Chicken and Beer restaurant, with locations in Atlanta and LAX.

Who’ll be on the guest list?

“I’m inviting all the players that didn’t make it to the Super Bowl so that I can hear them talk smack about who actually did make it,” he says.
