Kim Kardashian has asked for just $1.17 in damages from the criminals who robbed her of $10 million worth of jewelry at gunpoint in Paris.
The heist occurred in 2016, when the gang attacked the billionaire reality TV star in her hotel during Paris Fashion Week, tying her up and gagging her. A large portion of the stolen valuables remains missing, including the $4 million 18.88-carat engagement ring gifted to Kardashian by her ex-husband, Kanye West.
However, on Monday, Kardashian's lawyer Léonor Hennerick stated in civil court that she sought only "a token euro"—the equivalent of $1.17—in damages.

The four key members of the eight-person gang would be responsible for the payout. The high-profile trial took place last year, and Aït Khedache, the gang leader, sent Kardashian a written apology.
In court, an emotional Kardashian responded, "I do appreciate the letter. I forgive you for what has taken place, but it doesn't change the emotion and the feelings and the trauma, the way my life is forever changed."

Aït Khedache received the highest sentence of eight years in prison. The majority of the defendants were imprisoned in January 2017 and then released on bail due to their age and declining health.
During the civil damages hearing in Paris on Monday, Kardashian's stylist Simone Bretter, who was also in the hotel suite when it was attacked, also demanded only a single euro in damages.

On the other hand, Abderrahmane Ouatiki, the hotel receptionist on the night of the raid who had a gun put to his head, demanded €550,000 ($638,446) in damages, per the Daily Mail.
The Hôtel de Pourtalès, where the robbery took place, demanded £86,000 ($115,182) in damages, citing 'reputational harm'. Judges are expected to issue a ruling on civil damages on September 15.
This isn't the only scandal Kardashian is entangled in. Kim Kardashian's Skims shapewear brand was recently involved in controversy after one of her clothing and underwear shipments had almost $10 million worth of cocaine being smuggled in it.
Authorities announced on Monday, May 18, that a British court had sentenced a truck driver to prison for smuggling $9.4 million worth of cocaine in an underwear and clothing shipment for Skims, which is Kim's shapewear brand.
Additionally, Kim and her mother, Kris Jenner, are currently embroiled in a court battle with Kim's ex-boyfriend, Ray J, after they recently sued him for defamation following his saying they were being federally investigated for criminal activity.
