Justin Theroux revealed he and his wife Nicole Brydon Bloom’s holiday plans during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Fallout season 2 premiere

The actor teased they’ll be going “somewhere warm” to escape the winter chill at their home base in New York City

It won’t be a white Christmas for Justin Theroux and wife Nicole Brydon Bloom this year.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Fallout season 2 premiere, the actor, 54, teased his upcoming holiday plans with his pregnant wife, 31, sharing that they’d rather spend their time on white-sand beaches than white, powdery snow.

“We usually like to be somewhere warm. So we're going to continue that tradition again this year,” Theroux told PEOPLE exclusively.

While he didn’t share exactly where they planned to enjoy the Christmas holidays in 2025, they did spend their honeymoon at the luxurious Naviva resort in Punta Mita, Mexico, last spring.

Theroux added that he gets plenty of winter's chill at his home in New York, so he likes to change things up during the holiday season.

“Well, as a New Yorker, you do everything in your power to get out of New York in the wintertime because you inevitably have to spend a lot of it there,” he said. “So Christmas is the time of year to get somewhere warm.”

Theroux and Brydon Bloom will have more to celebrate than just presents and Yuletide cheer this year.

The couple, who wed in March 2025, debuted the Paradise actress' baby bump while taking photos on the red carpet at the premiere. This will be the first child for either of them.

Theroux is a new addition to Fallout, a show based on the popular post-apocalyptic video game franchise. He plays Robert House, a powerful figure from the New Vegas edition of the game.

“He's a genius. He's sort of the architect of the Armageddon, along with a couple other people,” the actor said while describing his character. “So what you can expect is some really fun scenes between me and Walton [Goggins]. That's probably what I highlight for me.”

He also said that one of the things that drew him to the role was the opportunity to act with his old friend Goggins, who stars as the Ghoul.

“He's fantastic. I mean, we go way back. We've known each other a long time. We've never had a chance to work together. So we were just like two kids in a candy store when we finally got to set, got to work together. So it was just fun. Like you can probably tell when you see the scenes that we're really enjoying ourselves.”

He added that while some view the ruthless Mr. House as a villain, he didn’t want to portray the character as evil.

“I don't really see him that way because I have to play him, and I really like him. I have to like him in order to play him. I can step out of my skin and realize, like, of course, he's the bad guy. Like all bad guys in life and in stories, they usually don't think they are the bad guy. They usually think they're the good guy in a way.”

Season 2 of Fallout will premiere Dec. 17 on Amazon Prime Video. Theroux will also star as a character he describes as “rich and stupid” in the upcoming Devil Wears Prada sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
