Junior Forum celebrates 98 years with 22 debutantes

On May 2, following a tradition dating back more than nine decades, The Kemp at The Forum abounded with the elegance and pageantry of the 98th Junior Forum Debutante Presentation.

The Junior Forum was founded in 1927 as a junior department of the Woman's Forum.

The debutante class was established to promote community involvement and social grace. The first presentation was staged in the spring of 1928.

The 98th Junior Forum Debutante Presentation on May 2 at The Kemp at The Forum in Wichita Falls.

The 22 charming ladies presented on Saturday were:

Phebe Elizabeth Atkins, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ben Duain Atkins. She will graduate from Memorial High School and plans to attend Midwestern State University.

Madeline Grace Barnard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kramer Barnard. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Texas Christian University. Her date for the evening was Boston Porter Bitsche.

Reece Ann Berry, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Chad Michael Berry. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Texas Tech University. Her date for the evening was Patrick Hayden Middlesworth.

Baily Elizabeth Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Houston Bolin Clark. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Savannah College of Art and Design.

Bellami Grace Coffey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Anthony Coffey. She will graduate from Memorial High School and plans to attend Baylor University.

Addison Grace Deleon, daughter of Mrs. Brianna Sue Petty and Mr. John Albert DeLeon. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Midwestern State University.

Elise Allison Estes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Linton Estes. She will graduate from Christ Academy and plans to attend Texas A&M University-Mays Business School.

Jordan Lynn Freeman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Travis Freeman. She will graduate from Memorial High School and plans to attend Texas A&M University.

Emma Elizabeth Fritzsch, daughter of Drs. John Richard and Sarah Ann Fritzsch. She will graduate from Memorial High School and plans to attend Hendrix College. Her date for the evening was Jackson Travis Bohannon.

Ava Claire Fukasawa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Yoshihisa Harold Fukasawa. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Kansas State University.

Grayson Gamble Harvey, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ralph Chandler Harvey. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Texas Christian University. Her date for the evening was Kayden Michael Shaw.

Grace Ann Holden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Scott Holden II. She will graduate from Burkburnett High School and plans to attend Texas Tech University.

Margaret Grace Ketner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Randolph Ketner. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend University of Arkansas. Her date for the evening was Briggs Tucker Moore.

Annie Irene McLain, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Jordan McLain. She will graduate from Burkburnett High School and plans to attend Abilene Christian University.

Graycen Elizabeth Phillips, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Robert Phillips. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Texas Tech University. Her date for the evening was Cru Ryder Magee.

Courtney Diane Tyler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Michael Tyler. She will graduate from Holliday High School and plans to attend the University of Arkansas. Her date for the evening was George Edward Slagle.

Hadley Faith Vicars, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Dean Vicars. She will graduate from Holliday High School and plans to attend Texas Tech University.

Lucy Belle Worley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Jerome Worley. She will graduate from Legacy High School and plans to attend Texas Tech University.
