Jessica Simpson shared a belated summer birthday selfie to Instagram on July 29.

The “Irresistible” singer rang in her 46th birthday in a black-and-white polka-dot bikini and colorful, layered jewelry.

Simpson recently re-promoted her 2024 swimwear collaboration with Walmart in a plunging one-piece swimsuit.

Jessica Simpson is delivering a not-so-subtle reminder that her title as a Y2K blonde bombshell remains intact. In a throwback post celebrating her 46th birthday, which took place on July 10, Simpson lounged in a tiny polka-dot bikini while soaking up the sun on a clear summer afternoon.

The Instagram photo featured the “Irresistible” singer reclining on a white beach towel and a purple mesh sarong with fringe detailing along the hem. For her birthday look, Simpson donned a strappy, triangle bikini top with string ties along the bust and the back of the neck. She styled the look with matching, high-waisted bikini bottoms and a pair of oval sunglasses with gold rims.

When it came to her accessories, the pop star put her own boho twist on the classic swimwear look. Simpson paired the polka-dot bikini with gold bracelets, delicate earrings with crystal embellishments, and layered necklaces, including a string of teal-and-white beads and a gold chain adorned with a turquoise pendant. While we didn’t get a glimpse at her full beachwear look, Simpson kept a colorful, paisley sarong under her hips, adding an extra pop of color to the black-and-white ensemble.

Last month, the “With You” singer caught fans’ attention when she shared a photo of herself on Instagram in a one-piece, zebra-print swimsuit from her 2024 collaboration with Walmart. “Summertime vibes,” she captioned the post. The plunging, one-piece look featured a strappy halter neckline and a colorful floral pattern layered over the zebra print base. She completed the outfit with gold butterfly rings, layered bracelets in gold and turquoise, massive hoop earrings, and a pointed gray manicure.

Simpson’s birthday post comes just over a month after Simpson wrapped the U.S. leg of her promotion tour celebrating the release of her EPs, Nashville Canyon Pt. 1 and Nashville Canyon Pt. 2. Simpson is expected to wrap the international leg of the tour in Mexico City on October 1.
