Jason Kelce Shares the “Remarkable” Aspect of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding That Surprised Him the Most

Jason Kelce served as best man at his younger brother Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding to Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

In a new interview on July 30, Jason shared what he found most surprising about the wedding, calling it “remarkable.”

No official photos have been shared from the big day, but no photos have leaked from the 1,000 guests at the event, either.

As the world waits with bated breath for official photographs from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding—specifically of Swift’s custom Dior wedding dress—Jason Kelce is amazed that no photos have leaked from the big day.

Jason, who served as his brother Travis’s best man at the ceremony at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, spoke on SportsRadio 94WIP on July 30, telling the hosts, “I haven’t seen any legitimate photos, really, from the wedding. It’s remarkable.”

“There were a thousand people inside Madison Square Garden,” Jason added (per Page Six), noting that Swift and Travis’s wedding was the biggest he’d ever attended. “I think this is obviously an effort by Travis and Taylor to really try and make this as intimate of a moment as possible.”

“There’s so much interest in what those guys are doing at all times, so I think you just get used to it,” he added, noting that the wedding felt “intimate and really special.”

“It was incredibly done,” he continued.

Jason has remained pretty tight-lipped about the wedding, but did share that he cried more at his brother’s wedding than he did at his own 2018 nuptials to wife Kylie Kelce.

“Kylie is probably not happy about that,” Jason quipped.

Jason also noted the mix of guests at the ceremony, saying, “In one moment I’m going, I’m seeing Brad Pitt pop out of a corner and talking to him. And then in the next moment, I’m seeing Mrs. Clark, who ran the attendance at Cleveland Heights High School.”

“It was an amazing evening with a lot of awesome people, and just so happy for Travis and Taylor,” Jason said. “It was incredible.”

In addition to the former Philadelphia Eagles star serving as best man, his four daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley, 1, served as flower girls. On July 11, Jason told the Reno Gazette Journal that the wedding was “a special event for our entire family.”

“And obviously my daughters are incredible,” he added. “They’re beautiful, they’re incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor love them. So, very happy we were able to be a part of it. And more importantly, very happy for those two. It was an amazing day.”

Jason and Travis’s mother, Donna Kelce, described the wedding as “magical”; Kylie, for her part, also called the day “magical” on the July 23 episode of her podcast “Not Gonna Lie.”

“I’m so happy for them, [and I] love them so, so dearly,” she added. “It was only making it official, because Taylor’s been family now for quite some time, so that’s that.”

“Anything else you can check in with Taylor and Travis about, because any of the details they want to share, they can share,” Kylie said. “Otherwise, it was intimate and incredible and full of love—both for each other and everybody else’s love for them.”

Since the wedding, Swift has been seen in Montana hanging out with Jason and Kylie. Travis reported back to Kansas City Chiefs training camp on July 28, but ahead of that, he and his new bride were “really excited to enjoy a few weeks of newlywed life before football season gets going again,” a source close to the couple told People.
