Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have split three years after tying the knot.

The pair initially sparked rumors of a breakup when Antonoff turned up solo for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding festivities over the July 4 weekend.

Qualley and Antonoff first began dating in the summer of 2021, with their engagement coming a year later.

Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff are calling it quit after five years together.

A source confirmed their split to Entertainment Weekly’s sister outlet PEOPLE on Wednesday, one month shy of their three-year wedding anniversary.

A second insider added that the actress and the Bleachers frontman are “figuring things out.”

The couple sparked rumors of a breakup when Antonoff turned up without Qualley for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding festivities over the July 4 weekend. Antonoff, with whom Swift has collaborated on numerous projects, was spotted solo heading to Madison Square Garden on July 2, ahead of Swift and Kelce’s wedding rehearsal dinner. He attended the ceremony with his fashion designer sister Rachel Antonoff.

Fans immediately pointed out Qualley’s absence on social media, noting the oddity of her not attending after Swift attended their 2023 wedding in New Jersey.

The actress and musician first began dating in the summer of 2021, with their engagement coming a year later. PEOPLE confirmed the news of their upcoming nuptials after Qualley was spotted wearing her ring during the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. The Maid star later offered a close-up of the diamond sparkler with a series of now-deleted photos shared to her Instagram account.

The pair got married in August 2023 in New Jersey with several celebrity guests attending, including Qualley’s mother, Andie MacDowell, and some of Antonoff’s musical collaborators, such as Swift and Lana Del Rey. Former couple Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum were also spotted at the celebration.

That same year, Qualley described Antonoff as “my person” during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

“I am so happy that I found my person. And it’s real. It’s amazing. It’s the best feeling in the world,” she said at that time. The interview was conducted before their wedding. “I’m so excited and so at ease all at once.”

“Until about a month before I met Jack, I never had any furniture. I would always have these s---ty little apartments and move around from one place to another with a mattress on the floor and an Ikea lamp,” she added. “I never made a home at all. I didn’t care; I cared about movies. I would use my sister’s basement in L.A. as a spot to keep my things. But I didn’t invest in that part of my life. It’s really exciting now to be making a home and to have something to care for.”

Qualley also told the outlet that she “just want[ed] to do everything with Jack,” adding that they weren’t in any rush to start a family.

“One day I want kids, and I’m not there yet, and I want to keep doing movies. And that’s about all I know,” she shared.

The news of Qualley and Antonoff’s split comes after fans noticed that the actress scrubbed her wedding day photos from her social media account.
