Travis Kelce owns three homes—about half as many unique properties as wife Taylor Swift.
The NFL star entered the real estate game in 2019, paying just under $1 million for a Kansas City starter home.
Shortly before his 2026 wedding to Taylor Swift, Kelce snapped up a $5.35 million home in Bratenahl, Ohio.
Travis Kelce grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, but his football career took him to Missouri to play for the Kansas City Chiefs. Today, the NFL star owns homes in both states. He also has access to wife Taylor Swift’s extensive real estate portfolio, which includes luxury apartments and mansions in New York, California, Tennessee, and Rhode Island.
Although there’s been much speculation about where the newlyweds will put down roots—after all, as Swift sang in “Wi$h Li$t,” she’s been “dreamin’ ‘bout a driveway with a basketball hoop”—it seems most likely that they’ll continue to move from place to place as their careers and whims dictate.
During football season, Kelce is understandably based in Kansas City. In the summertime, he’s been spotted hanging out with celebrity pals at Swift’s Rhode Island estate. The pair are also no strangers to an NYC date night, as the many paparazzi sightings in the weeks leading up to their July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden prove. Thankfully, Swift’s Tribeca apartment offers the perfect place for them to crash in the city.
Swift’s swanky places are well-known to Swifties through her Instagram posts, lyrics, and glimpses shown in her documentaries, but Kelce’s properties aren’t as well-known. Ahead, learn about all of Travis Kelce’s houses—including which one was the site of his 2025 proposal to the pop superstar.

Kelce signed with the Chiefs in the 2013 NFL Draft, but it wasn’t until 2019 that he purchased a home in Kansas City’s Briarcliff West neighborhood. The tight end spent just shy of $1 million on the split-level, according to Realtor.com. Sources vary on the home’s square footage, with Realtor.com reporting that it’s 4,200 square feet, and other outlets claiming it’s actually 10,000 square feet.
None too shabby for a football player’s starter home, it sits on an acre of land and has a gym (a must-have for any pro athlete), a wine cellar, and an office where Kelce may have filmed the earliest episodes of his New Heights podcast.
The baller upgraded his digs in 2023, purchasing a larger home in Kansas. But, per Realtor.com, records indicate that Kelce still owns his original pad in Missouri.

Fresh off a Super Bowl win against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Chiefs star celebrated by buying his second home. This time, he put down $6 million for a ritzy retreat in Leawood, Kansas. One of the motivating factors for buying the property—situated on almost 3.5 acres—may have been the need for greater privacy after he went public with then-girlfriend Swift.
Per Realtor.com, the 17,000-square-foot mansion has six bedrooms and six bathrooms and is located in a gated community. Inside, there are all the amenities a good host needs, from a media lounge and chef’s kitchen to a wine cellar and “Beverly Hills-style” pool area. Also on the property’s grounds? A waterfall, miniature golf course, tennis/pickleball court, and an outdoor kitchen.
The house isn’t just party-ready, but proposal-ready. In late 2025, Swift announced her engagement to Kelce with a series of photos on Instagram showing them embracing in a dreamy garden setting. The setting where she said yes turned out to be none other than Kelce’s Leawood backyard, according to NPR member station KCUR and comments from Kelce’s father. As for how he created such a stunning garden scene, a florist told People his extensive arrangement of flowers and other decor likely cost up to $38,000.
Lakefront Ohio Home

Kelce’s most recent real estate purchase happened in 2026—in fact, mere months before he married the “Patient Zero” singer. The Wall Street Journal reported in September that Kelce had bought a lakefront home in Bratenahl, Ohio for $5.35 million in March.
Although the four-time All Pro player brings his own clout to the residence, it has a surprisingly starry history. Known as “Moyenage,” the 1895 mansion has been the home of businessmen and a prolific inventor, per WCNC. An episode of the CBS series Route 66 was filmed at the home in 1962, giving it a Hollywood connection.
Property records reviewed by Realtor.com reveal that the Bratenahl residence is 21,140 square feet. A five-car garage, resort-style pool and spa, and coveted views of Lake Erie. It has eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Adding to its curb appeal, it’s conveniently located a stone’s throw from Kelce’s hometown.
Could Swift one day drop “Bratenahl!” as a follow-up to “Cleveland!”? We’ll just have to wait and see.
