Tom Brady retired from the NFL over three years ago, but he remains one of the biggest names in all of sports while exploring opportunities away from football - as well as continuing to make hundreds of millions from it.

For over 20 years, Brady had been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He went on to finish his career with seven Super Bowl championships, cementing his place as the unquestionable greatest of all-time.

He had just one year away from the spotlight, coming in 2023 after his retirement while not being involved in the NFL before making a grand return as a color commentator in 2024. Many argue that he is now one of the best in that role, after a difficult first year transitioning to an announcer.

Mirror US Sports has taken a deep dive into Brady's life after walking away from football, amid recent reports that he could be set to begin in a new sport in the coming weeks.

Giselle Bundchen divorce

Brady and Bundchen were married for over a decade, with their divorce becoming public during his last year in the NFL. Numerous reports had suggested that his decision to continue playing the sport late into his career had drawn a wedge into their marriage.

He admitted: "My last season was tough. I was going through — I had a lot of, just a personal, a family issue. And it was a challenge and it was a very — it just took a lot out of me in terms of my ability to continue to play."

Bundchen is now re-married, tying the knot with her former jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente. The two have welcomed a child.

Brady and Bundchen are said to be civil, but do not have a friendship and live very separate lives, while co-parenting their two kids Benjamin and Vivian.

FOX Sports $375 million deal

While Brady had no involvement with the NFL during the 2023 season, which was for the first time since 2000, he made his return in 2024 as FOX Sports' number one color commentator.

He joined Kevin Burkhardt in the booth while making the transition, signing a 10-year, $375 million deal with FOX.

Throughout his first year, Brady faced much criticism. Many felt his commentary to be bland and uninteresting. However, his second year saw him almost do a 180 - while now being seen as one of the better announcers.

Las Vegas ownership

Brady joined Mark Davis' ownership group at the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces in 2023, before quickly becoming a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders the following year.

He played a role in bringing in Pete Carroll as head coach, before he was fired and replaced with Klint Kubiak. Brady also spent time with Raiders first-overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza, while appearing to have a hands-on approach as a minority owner.

However, his ownership with the Raiders has undoubtedly affected his commentary.

Other announcers regularly meet with teams and enter their training facilities, while spending time with players and coaches. Due to Brady being a part of the Raiders, he cannot attend any of these meetings. He also cannot criticize officials. He is, however, permitted to call Raiders games.

Soccer minority ownership

Brady joined another ownership team in 2023 when he became a minority owner at Birmingham City. The former Premier League team had fallen all the way to League One, now being promoted back to the Championship while hoping to be in the race back to English football's top tier next year.

Brady has appeared on a number of soccer podcasts in recent years while clearly having a solid understanding of the sport, while bringing his personal trainer Alex Guerrero over to the club's sport science department.

While Brady is still believed to be single, he has been romantically linked to a number of individuals over the past few years.

He had been dating model Irina Shayk for a period of time, as well as a rumored fling with Kim Kardashian.

Brady has also been pictured with Alix Earle, as well as rumored to have been dating Yael Cohen Braun and Brooks Nader.

However, he has yet to confirm any relationship since his divorce.

WWE rumors

Brady had recently slapped Logan Paul at a recent event, an incident which raised eyebrows with it clearly looking to be a publicity stunt.

This led to rumors as to whether Brady would be joining the WWE in some sort of capacity, before admitting that he'd actually be interested.

Speaking to current WWE star Cody Rhodes, Brady said: ""I need to get an invite. I have been waiting for Nick Khan to come up with a storyline for me to get in the mix. I feel like I'm retired from football, have an opportunity to get out there and still showcase that I'm a little of an athlete.

"Come on Nick. Come on, make it happen."
