Grayson Waller is once again at the center of a war of words with TNA Wrestling. This time, one of TNA’s prominent stars is taking things a step further by challenging him to a fight.
The reigning WWE NXT World Champion has made it clear that he does not have much respect for TNA in recent weeks. Waller has repeatedly taken shots at the promotion and its roster, with his latest comments getting responses from several TNA stars, including AJ Francis.

During the September 1 episode of WWE NXT, Waller took another shot at TNA while talking about Cruz Montana, the former Mike Santana. Waller admitted that Montana is talented but brushes off his past achievements by calling him simply “TNA good.”
During his return to NXT, the Australian star delivered a promo questioning the level of competition in the company. Waller compared being the best wrestler in TNA to being the best ball player at the local YMCA.
The NXT Champion later continued his trash talk during an appearance on Busted Open After Dark where he specifically targeted former WWE star Brian Myers, who is now part of the TNA roster.
“I know Brian Myers is going to freak out. He was playing with his action figures and went, ‘Hey, that’s where I work.’ Put your action figures down, lad, and do something about it. All these little dweebs in TNA, what are you going to do? All you do is tweet. I ain’t stressed about you. Let’s not worry about that company,” he said. (H/T: Ringside News)

Those comments did not go unanswered.
AJ Francis, who previously wrestled in WWE as Top Dolla, responded to Waller on X and challenged Waller to settle their differences physically.
“I will box @GraysonWWE any time he wants,” Francis tweeted.
Whether Waller accepts the challenge remains to be seen. For now, their rivalry stays focused on words and social media. However, Waller has a history of turning controversy into wrestling angles, so this could eventually become something more.
