Hulu, HBO Max, Prime Video and other streaming services have several fresh movies to watch at home. There are theatrical releases, like Timothée Chalamet's Oscar-nominated ping-pong epic and a Korean dark comedy, but also original fare such as a throwback backwoods horror flick with an eerie masked villain.
Here are 10 new and notable movies you can stream right now:
'Apex'
Serial killer Ben (Taron Egerton) targets grieving rock climber Sasha (Charlize Theron) in "Apex."
While Charlize Theron is known for her action movies, this survival thriller has plenty of natural splendor to go with the high-stakes danger. She plays a grieving rock climber in Australia for solace after a tragic loss, and Taron Egerton is out of his mind as the sadistic serial killer hunting and chasing her through rivers and mountains.

'Balls Up'
Mark Wahlberg (left) and Paul Walter Hauser play marketing executives who pitch a condom sponsorship with the World Cup and spark a global scandal in the comedy "Balls Up."
The R-rated comedy stars Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser, who hatch the idea for an innovative new condom and score a prize sponsorship with the World Cup. However, a drunken incident at the championship match makes them wanted men and sends the oddball pair on a bonkers adventure involving tanks, criminals and dangerous beasts.

'Dolly'
Pro wrestler Max the Impaler stars as the imposing masked villain of slasher horror movie "Dolly."
There's some serious "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" vibes going with this creepy slasher flick. Fabianne Therese plays a young woman on a hike in the woods with her boyfriend (Seann William Scott) who runs afoul of a bizarre, imposing figure (pro wrestler Max the Impaler) with a porcelain doll mask intent on raising her as a child.

'Dust Bunny'
Aurora (Sophie Sloan, far left) gets some tea with her hitman neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) and the mysterious Laverne (Sigourney Weaver) in the family horror movie "Dust Bunny."
Director Bryan Fuller combines his quirky “Pushing Daisies” look with “Gremlins” throwback vibes for this horror fantasy. Eight-year-old Aurora (Sophie Sloan) is convinced the monster under her bed ate her family, so she recruits her hitman neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) to combat the creature. Sigourney Weaver is along for the ride as a femme fatale.

'Marty Supreme'
Marty Mauser (Timothée Chalamet) has big dreams of being a ping-pong champ, if his own selfish attitude doesn't derail him first, in 1950s-set sports comedy "Marty Supreme."
In director Josh Safdie's superb sports comedy set in the world of 1950s table tennis, shoe salesman Marty Mauser (Timothée Chalamet) will do anything to be a ping-pong champion. He's also a selfish jerk, and his pursuit of glory sucks assorted players into his chaotic world, from a childhood friend (Odessa A'zion) to a famous actress (Gwyneth Paltrow).

'Midwinter Break'
The sentimental slow-burn drama centers on Stella (Lesley Manville) and Gerry (Ciarán Hinds), an older European couple needing a getaway who travel from Glasgow to Amsterdam. The trip unlocks a new side to Stella, who finds herself wanted a spiritual journey of self-discovery that might not involve her longtime husband.

'No Other Choice'
Lee Byung-hun stars as a guy in the cutthroat paper industry who attempts to take out his competition for a new job in the South Korean dark comedy "No Other Choice."
In Park Chan-wook's deliciously dark comedy, Lee Byung-hun ("Squid Game") plays a family man who's laid off from his beloved papermaking job after 25 years. Attempts to come back fail, his life starts falling apart around him, and in a desperate move for employment, he tries to kill his competition when a new gig becomes available.

In director Jonah Hill's Hollywood satire, Keanu Reeves plays a beloved movie star who, in the process of sussing out a mysterious blackmailer, learns a lot of people actually hate him. Matt Bomer and Cameron Diaz are his high school besties and Hill is the actor's unhinged crisis lawyer in a dark comedy that's plenty absurd but also surprisingly sweet.

'Roommates'
Chloe East (left) and Sadie Sandler play freshman friends whose relationship implodes in the Netflix college comedy "Roommates."
Produced by Adam Sandler, the college comedy stars daughter Sadie Sandler and "Heretic" breakout Chloe East. Shy freshman Devon (Sandler) befriends wild-child Celeste (East) during orientation and they become roommates, though jealousy, bad manners and many girl-code violations turn them against each other in surprisingly dark ways.

'Shelby Oaks'
Camille Sullivan plays a woman who's been seeking her missing sister for 12 years and finds she might be connected to an abandoned town with a bloody history in the horror mystery "Shelby Oaks."
Part faux true-crime documentary and part cult chiller, Chris Stuckmann's horror mystery conjures some supernaturally creepy imagery. Mia (Camille Sullivan) has been searching more than a decade for her sister Riley (Sarah Durn), an internet paranormal investigator who went missing, and finds new leads in a gruesome death and an old ghost town.
