Erin Andrews wasn’t happy with herself during the Detroit Lions’ win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
The veteran NFL on FOX sideline reporter admitted that her halftime report appearance was “inappropriate” and unprofessional.
During the most recent episode of her podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, the Fox Sports sideline reporter broke down what went wrong on Sunday, during Detroit’s win over Green Bay.
Andrews told her co-host, Charissa Thompson, that it was a “learning experience” for her. “I puked and [pooped] down my leg for my halftime hit, which I’m frustrated about,” Andrews said on the podcast.
Andrews, 48, admitted that reporting at Detroit’s Ford Field is “different than any other stadium” because of how things are set up.
“Normally, you get two quick questions,” Andrews explained.
“Well, we get a long ramp, and I like [Packers head coach] Matt LaFleur, I consider him a friend,” she continued.
Andrews said that she got four or five questions in with Green Bay’s head coach, before going on the air for her report, where things went wrong. She panicked before going on air.
“And then I’m like, ‘Wait, wait, (expletive), what did he say about going for it?’ Because I never want to quote a coach and get it wrong, so I’m like, ‘Oh my god,'” she explained.

Right before she was about to go on the air, she realized that she didn’t have any updates on injured players.
“I’m fully (expletive) out of breath, which is inappropriate,” Andrews said. “Like, get it together, sister. In through the nose, out through the mouth. It was all because the ramp was so long.”
“And I’m like, ‘Oh my god, how many people are watching and I just (expletive) down my leg. I’m so much better than that.”
Tom Brady gave Andrews some confidence, though
The former NFL star turned Fox Sports announcer gave the sideline reporter some confidence.
Andrews had said that she would “get it together” after halftime.
Brady responded with an “Aww.”
“He did that on-air because he knew I was struggling,” she said.
Andrews will be back on the air on Sunday.
