Demi Moore Shocks Fans with Quick Hair Transformation from Bob to Long Locks

Demi Moore's hair is having a major moment in the spotlight this week.

The 63-year-old actress had fans buzzing when she showed up for Milan Fashion Week with a sleek bob. But despite getting a ton of praise for the big chop, the The Substance actress stunned everyone by returning to her famous long locks less than a week later.

In a series of photos and videos shared to Instagram on Thursday, Mar. 5, Moore shook out her waist-length brunette mane to share her latest hair transformation. She wore a simple white T-shirt and baggy blue denim, posing barefoot for a photoshoot where her hair was clearly the main character.

In the caption of her latest social media post, she wrote, "The long hair is here to stay 😉," before tagging Kérastase, the hair care company that announced in January 2026 that she was its Global Brand Ambassador.

In a statement about working with Kérastase, Moore said, "I am truly honoured to join the Kérastase family as their Global Brand Ambassador. My life has been shaped by love, growth, and new experiences - and my hair has been with me through it all."

Her message continued, "I believe there’s a unique energy in hair; it carries our experiences, our confidence, and our individuality. For me, there’s a real freedom in letting your hair simply be itself and allowing it to tell your story. That, to me, is what beauty is all about - being authentic and embracing who you are. I can’t wait to share my new Kérastase chapter with you all!"

If Moore intended to get people talking about her hair, the switch-up from a sassy bob to a cascade of raven-hued tresses did the trick. The comments section of the Ghost star's latest post was a sea of heart and fire emojis.

Some were confused, with one fan asking, "Which is her own the short or the long?"

Others debated whether Moore rocked the short bob or the long waves better, with one writing, "Shorter hair is so much better."

Another weighed in, declaring, "Don’t cut your gorgeous long hair. 🔥🔥🔥"

Kérastase even commented on the Instagram share, writing, "Gorgeous! We are so happy to have you! You and your hair 🤍."
