CBS is giving viewers their first look at what’s ahead in Fairmont Crest with the release of the first promo for Season 2 of Beyond the Gates, set to premiere in 2026.
The teaser was released via the official CBS YouTube channel, offering a glimpse at the heightened romance and drama awaiting fans in the new season.
The preview opens with a glamorous party at the Dupree household, where family matriarch Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) teases, “This party is going to be brimming with surprises.”
As an announcer promises that “The stories are steamier,” quick cuts show couples heating up, including Kat (Colby Muhammad) with Thomas (Alex Alegria), and Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) sharing a kiss with Joey (Jon Lindstrom).
Martin (Brandon Claybon) jokes with his husband Smitty (Mike Manning), “Hopefully, it's involving fewer clothes,” underscoring the season’s more playful tone.
Elsewhere, Leslie (Trisha Mann Grant) shares a suggestive exchange with Marcell, hinting at a possible new romantic complication. “Oh, baby, I'm counting on it,” she says.
The announce adds that “the romance is wilder” as Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) is shown in a charged moment with Dr. Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley).
Dani Dupree Richardson (Karla Mosley) shares a flirtatious exchange with her husband Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), telling him, “I married a genie, the sexy one who grants all my wishes.”
Another brief clip shows Ashley in an intimate moment with a mystery man, suggesting new storylines still under wraps.
Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrant) sums it up with a grin, adding, “Might be a little more fun than I thought.”
The promo wraps up with three quick clips, “Your family sure knows how to do it up” Andre tells Dani. Elsewhere, Martin tells his son, “cuz we are team Dupree.” While Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) tells Ted (Keith D. Robinson), “Come in,” with a wink.
