Britney Spears channeled her inner child on her birthday.
The pop superstar showed off the outfit she wore to celebrate her 44th birthday, which she celebrated on Dec. 2, with a post on Instagram, sharing a mirror selfie of herself posing in a polka-dot dress for her special day.
"This is the dress I wore for my birthday🎂…Minnie Mouse was my inspiration… you guys have to check out the new 3D cartoon of Minnie and her Boutique with Daisy… it’s brilliant… It’s like I turned 5 again and I watch it everyday now!!!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🎂," she wrote in the caption.
The post pictures a reflection of Spears wearing a short, white dress covered in tiny black polka dots. The off-the-shoulder neckline was lined with ruffles and adorned with a black bow, while the skirt flared with black lace lining peeking out beneath it.

She paired the dress with mid-calf black boots, and wore her long, blonde locks down with a center part. Her manager, Cade Hudson, stood alongside her in the mirror selfie, seemingly helping her align the camera for the perfect picture.
The "... Baby One More Time" singer shared her Instagram post on Monday, Dec. 29, almost one month after her birthday and just a few days post-Christmas, which she spent with her loved ones.
A source told PEOPLE that the singer celebrated Christmas alongside her 19-year-old son, Jayden James. Her other son, Sean Preston, 20, was seen celebrating Christmas in Louisiana alongside his aunt Jamie Lynn Spears' family in photos shared to Instagram.
"Britney had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Jayden — it's been such a special holiday," the source exclusively tells PEOPLE.
Spears shares her two sons with ex Kevin Federline.
Back in November, Federline appeared on an episode of Talk Shop Live while promoting his new memoir You Thought You Knew and shared that Spears has been in contact with their two sons Preston and Jayden since his book was published.
"We haven't talked specifically, but I know that she's talked to our sons, which is good,” Federline shared.
On Dec. 28, the “Gimme More” singer spoke out after several family members — including her son Preston and her mom Lynne — who spent Christmas in Louisiana with her sister, Jamie Lynn.

She shared a post to Instagram that featured a photo of a Christmas tree and a caption that seemingly offered a sarcastic acknowledgement of her family’s holiday plans.
“Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can’t fix…,” she wrote. “To my dear sweet innocent family … so so sorry I was busy this Christmas but I will definitely show up and surprise you soon … I can't wait.”
Britney concluded her note with a hello to Jamie Lynn’s “beautiful” 7-year-old daughter Ivey, writing, “I just want to hold you, my love … Godspeed, friends.”
