WWE‘s Becky Lynch explains how motherhood helped put things into perspective in her life.
Former multiple-time WWE women’s champion Becky Lynch recently appeared on The Female Quotient. During the interview, she opened up about balancing her career and being a present mother to her daughter, Roux. She explained that motherhood helped her stop obsessing over professional perfection, allowing her to enjoy her wrestling career without letting it define her entire identity.
Lynch noted that it helped her to put things in perspective. It also made her grateful to realize that her real, most rewarding life is waiting for her at home.
Becky Lynch Opens Up About Motherhood, Gratitude, and Her Changing Perspective
“My mom was flying a lot when I was a kid, but I never remember her being gone. I only remember her being present. As hard as it is to go and to do this job, I think it’s a good example of following your passions and trying your best to balance being present when you’re home and then being present when you’re away,” Becky Lynch said.

“Getting to do what you love is such a blessing. It’s the most amazing thing in the world. But the most important thing is her health and her happiness and looking after her. And when you have this thing that you love, you can squeeze it a little bit too tightly and almost crush it. You don’t enjoy it,” Lynch continued.
“I think having her and opening my perspective to everything allowed me to loosen the grip a bit to enjoy it a bit more and put everything into perspective. Of course, you still want to be at the top of your industry. I want to be the best always. But I think it gives you a lot more gratitude for coming home and realizing that beyond the four sides of that ring, there’s a whole other world,” Lynch said.
