Anton and Olivia Pacino’s mother is none other than beloved actress Beverly D’Angelo, who welcomed twins at 49 with Pacino, her then-partner. The star originated the role of Ellen Griswold alongside Chevy Chase‘s Clark W. Griswold in the first National Lampoon’s Vacation film in 1983 and played the iconic role of Ellen in several follow-ups, including 1989’s beloved holiday version, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

Despite being a Hollywood success story, D’Angelo says she maintained traditional family values despite her untraditional path to parenthood.

“I had kids really late — I gave birth to twins six weeks after I turned 49,” she told Fox News Digital. “It was really important to me to place them at the center of my world. So, I wouldn’t do any films that would take me out of town for any amount of time. I did television, I did some indie films and things like that, but my focus was really to always be emotionally and physically available to my kids.”
